Apple blossom orchards in the springtime are one of the most romantic sights to behold, but when you toss in outdoor painting, croquet, lemonade, and a fun couple it can’t get any better! Heather and Brandon travelled from Edmonton, Alberta to the sunny Okanagan for their orchard engagement session. We lucked out and caught the last flush of apple blossoms for this garden party photoshoot.
We loved how Heather and Brandon wanted to incorporate painting into their session as an ode to Brandon’s love of painting. It was fun seeing how these two painted each other – the results were awesome! Afterwards, a friendly little game of croquet ensued which brought out just a tad of their hilarious competitive side – haha! Heather then changed into her mom’s prom dress straight-up from the 70’s, which fit her amazingly and looked so stunning in the orchard.
Thanks, Heather & Brandon, for all your fun and personality! We can’t wait to photograph your wedding in October at The Harvest Golf Club!!!
