Claudia & Brent – Golden September Vineyard Wedding at Summerhill Winery in Kelowna, BC

Claudia and Brent who reside in Calgary decided on the beautiful Okanagan for their destination wedding, which is a perfect meeting point for both families and friends from Vancouver (Brent’s hometown) and Calgary (Claudia’s hometown). After meeting Claudia and Brent over a year ago we loved how relaxed and friendly they are. They are also super fun, laugh a lot, and know how to have a good time which you will see in the photos. This past Spring, we headed to a beautiful orchard in bloom for their dreamy engagement photos which you can view here.

Claudia wore 3 different gowns on her wedding day: a traditional Chinese red dress, a white lace wedding gown, and for the reception a white evening gown with sparkly gold straps. How fun is that?! The day started off with hilarious door games, moved into a Chinese Tea Ceremony, before heading to Summerhill Winery for their stunning vineyard ceremony overlooking Okanagan Lake.

After the ceremony, they celebrated by sabering the tops of champagne Napoleon style with a sword. Claudia surprised herself by sabering it on the first try and was greeted by lots of cheers (the sword is pretty heavy, so many times it takes a few tries). Lots of amazing food and wine, speeches, and fun party games continued throughout the evening. It was so fun to be part of such an eventful and full day of celebration, laughter, and joy.
