Elegant Vineyard Wedding at Summerhill Winery in Kelowna, BC – Kim & Kevin

When we met up with Kim and Kevin back in April for their engagement session which you can view here, we were immediately struck by their kindness, joy, and infectious laughter. These two definitely adore each other and it’s evident every time we see them in each other’s presence. Although Kim and Kevin are form Alberta they chose to have their wedding in the beautiful Okanagan at Summerhill Winery in Kelowna.

After getting ready at Playa del Sol in the Mission, we headed to Bertram Creek Park for their First Look before the ceremony. The weather was slightly wild and stormy before the ceremony and even rained just minutes before Kim walked down the aisle, but during the ceremony amazingly cleared to a sunny sky which lasted until their spectacular sunset session in the vineyard – seriously, we were blown away by the glow!

With tons of gorgeous décor and florals from Vintage Origami and Classic Creations, the reception was transformed into an elegant space swathed in tons of flowy white fabric, pretty florals, and an adorable candy bar. Since both Kim and Kevin have Ukrainian heritage, they also incorporated the Korovai (Ukrainian bread) into their décor and even were surprised by an amazing Ukrainian dance performance during the evening!

What a celebration! Thank you so much Kim & Kevin for having us photograph your phenomenal wedding – we were so touched to be part of it and wish you heaps of love in your married life together! Congratulations!!!

Kim used to perform Ukrainian dancing competitively back in the day, so it was super sweet when Kim & Kevin were surprised by a Ukrainian dance troupe. The energy and beauty of the dance was spectacular!
