The day we met up for Heather and Pete’s engagement session it was a bit rainy and cloudy, but luckily we had the shelter of one of Kelowna’s oldest heritage farmhouses which is still owned by descendants of the original family. Indoors, we set up a picnic on the floor that once was the old kitchen and popped some bubbly. These two are super sweet together – we loved the little chalkboard sign written affectionately with their favourite saying to each other: “Love Your Guts” – hehe.
Afterwards we headed outside to the farm orchard before going down to the lake. We love the patina and deep tones that the old farmhouse exudes contrasted with the fresh outdoor images by Okanagan Lake. Thanks, Heather & Pete, for making the journey from Edmonton, Alberta for your engagement session. We look forward to photographing your wedding in September at The Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna!
A cute deer was seen munching away on greens – can you spot the little guy?
