Karlee and David journeyed back to Karlee’s hometown of Kelowna from Edmonton for their farm-romance inspired engagement session. David actually proposed at The Caravan Farm Theatre in Armstrong last New Years Eve. If you haven’t been to the this outdoor winter theatre event, which includes multiple sets spread across the farm that you travel to on horse drawn sleigh, you must experience this! I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place for a proposal. They love the outdoors, nature, and time on the lake, so chose to experience their engagement shoot at Fintry Provincial Park, which has the most amazing barns, heritage manor, and lakeside packing house.
Upon arrival at Fintry, we experienced a torrential downpour, but it soon let up to sun breaking through clouds and steam rising from the barn. We found out that David loves to two-step, so they danced up a storm in the dreamy, golden field before we made it to the beach for the final rays of sunset light. We look forward to photographing their lakeside wedding just down the road from Fintry at Lake Okanagan Resort on July 18th, 2015!
