Mitchell has a few vintage vehicles he has been restoring and we were super excited to find out that he wanted to incorporate one in their engagement session! Not knowing what the vehicle was going to look like, we were REALLY thrilled when they pulled up in a beautiful white vintage Mercury truck; it was absolutely perfect! Mitchell and Melanie love their dogs and are often out walking with them, so we were excited to meet them and make sure that they were a big part of the photoshoot. I love big dog-little dog combos; it’s the best of both worlds! Cooper is an energy-filled golden retriever who had the BEST time on our excursion and especially loved tromping around in the creek, whereas Dora is a tiny calm little bundle of cuteness that we were slightly concerned would go missing in the tall grasses!
Melanie and Mitchell are such a sweet couple and we had a great time photographing them in an idyllic countryside. Katherine loves my curly hair so much, but Mitchell’s hair definitely trumped mine! She stated that he has the most perfect angelic curls she’s ever seen. We love these images and can’t wait to photograph their wedding in August at Summerhill Winery in Kelowna!
