The final day of Sohini & Jass’ stunning 3 day wedding was nothing short of spectacular. Rising early (we arrived when dawn was just breaking), Sohini and Jass got ready at Sparkling Hill Resort before heading to Cedar Creek Winery for their Hindu ceremony. The ceremony was absolutely breathtaking and filled with amazingness at every turn. It’s also quite intense with crowds of people, the occasional shoe stealing, and tears of sorrow and new beginnings.
After their ceremony we headed down the road to Bertram Creek Park for some creative photos outside near the lake before Sohini & Jass zoomed off in a Bentley back to Sparkling Hill Resort. After Sohini & Jass rested and changed outfits (I think this is gown #5 for Sohini!), we headed outside for the last final strands of golden light and then boarded a helicopter for their dramatic reception entrance!!! As all their guests poured out of Sparkling Hill Resort, Sohini & Jass exited the helicopter, popped a bottle of champagne and cut their wedding cake. What a rock star entrance!!!
Their reception was equally impressive with surprise performances and even a flash mob! We can honestly say this was our longest coverage ever – we left our house at 5am and returned home at 2am! Sohini & Jass joked about recovering a week later…and I honestly think they are right! Holy – what a weekend of beauty and love. It was truly a feast for the eyes and for the heart as well. Thank you Sohini & Jass for choosing us as your photographers – we were truly honoured to be part of your stunning wedding!
