Day 2 of Sohini & Jass’ wedding! The was hands-down the earliest we have ever photographed Getting Ready for a wedding (aside from Day 3, of course) – we left the house at 5am, so we could start bright and early at 6am! That’s nothing compared to how early Sohini had to get up for her hair and makeup. The results were well worth it – Sohini looked stunning in her gown for the Sikh wedding ceremony held at Okanagan Sikh Temple in Kelowna.
After the ceremony, we stopped by a beautiful location overlooking Kalamalka lake, before heading back to Sparkling Hill Resort for a few last creative couple’s portraits. Enjoy some of our favourites from this beautiful and festive day!
This is Kalamalka lake at 5:30am when driving to Sparkling Hill Resort from Kelowna early in the morning:
Surprise gift from Sohini!
If you are not careful, you might just get picked up!
I had to contain my laughter, when Sohini & Jass shot me a quick “ugly face” at the end of their ceremony. Ha ha!
After I put down the camera and called it a day, I whipped it up again for these last two photos. Jass finally gets to take off his turban (relief!) and Sohini looking beautiful, but exhausted. Next up, the finale – Day 3!!!
