We’ve been wanting to do a Vespa engagement session for quite a while now, so when Christina & Scott approached us wanting to incorporate a vintage Vespa into their photoshoot – we eagerly exclaimed “YES!!!” Christina is a graphic designer in Kelowna and we loved how she pulled together the fun pops of teal and pink into her outfit and the tea party goodies she came prepared with.
Before we set out for some Vespa adventures we set up a picturesque garden tea party in the shade of a cherry orchard. The featured tea set was a gift from Scott to Christina – he painted the white set with red sparkly polka dots knowing it was Christina’s favourite colour and pattern. One fine day, he surprised Christina with this set and a high-altitude tea party on Knox Mountain with all her favourite goodies – needless to say that she was so overly impressed that she was shocked when he presented a ring and proposed to her. How romantic is that!?!
We love everything about this photoshoot from the bright colours of the orchard tea party right down to Christina’s adorable shoes (no, seriously, check them out!). And of course, the Vespa just made our day – how can you not smile when seeing such a cute scooter? Christina & Scott, we can’t wait to photograph your wedding in September at the heritage Guisachan House in Kelowna!!!
