Amanda and Tanner knew from the start that they wanted to incorporate wakesurfing into their engagement session, since they spend time in the Okanagan every summer on the lake soaking up the sunshine. This was my first time photographing wakesurfing and I was so excited to capture this vibrant and energetic couple ripping it up. I even jumped into the water myself with camera in tow (don’t worry – I had underwater housing equipment protecting my beloved camera!).
But, before we hit the lake, we strolled through beautiful Kaloya park in Oyama which juts out into Kalamalka Lake to photograph Amanda and Tanner before they got soaked. Thanks you two for being so outgoing and adventurous (and many thanks to Amanda’s brother for driving us around in his super sexy boat!). We look forward to photographing your wedding at Sparkling Hill Resort in September!!!
